Eclipse to start 6:32 AM. Sunrise at about 6:12 AM…. waiting for the sun …and it comes up a pale pink gradually turning orange… a crow flies across. CLICK! I get so engrossed in the birds and the far away Mosque minarets, the eclipse starts and I miss the beginning. Â Its 6:40… oh time [...]

 These dry leaves in bright sunlight had too wide a tonal contrast, the camera was unable to capture the tonal width in color – but I liked the shapes and contours…. the image converted to B&W shows what I saw through the lens….not leaves, but the play of light on shapes. A small change in focus, perspective and shutter [...]
