Eclipse to start 6:32 AM.
Sunrise at about 6:12 AM…. waiting for the sun …and it comes up a pale pink
gradually turning orange… a crow flies across.

I get so engrossed in the birds and the far away Mosque minarets, the eclipse starts and I miss the beginning.
 
Its 6:40… oh time went by too fast!
I look thru the lens [had inserted a exposed and fogged film sheet into the filter holder slot of  the 300mm lens to act as a 4-stop "neutral density" filter and to enable me to focus on the sun without being blinded] and noticed that the eclipse had started!
