Going nowhere, stuck in a rut
Photographically speaking? Nope, wish it were limited only to photography…My laziness extends waaaay beyond….
Photographically, all I seem to be doing is pulling up old stuff from archived images on the back-up drives and silver-disks. At best, I’m taking photos at Mannat’s school events…Not getting out enough to photograph even though there are images just waiting to be made.
Anyway, here is a photo that I like from when I just started into digital photography. Looking at the archives, there is a folder per DAY with several images per session [at times even a 100 or more in each folder]. I know it was not just because of the new camera… it also was because I could step out the house into the garden and there was always something new to photograph – flowers, leaves, rain, insects, bugs, birds, mist…. So, I have an excuse! Cant just step out the apartment and find something nice to photograph. There is nothing interesting to photograph out on the street below…. NEED TO WAKEUP! and see again. or was that “wake up and smell the coffee?”
1/14/08 update: its not just me. Sixteenfeet has it too.

wow! i’m speechless!

amazing picture. love the colour.
speaking of interest value, i thought the street below your apartment had plenty of it. local people, colour, trade, . . ., what more are you asking for?
I hear you, Ramesh. Will get my butt out in the street!
