A quick drive-around last evening to show a visitor a few sights in Dhaka….. negotiating Dhaka traffic, the Parliament Building at sunset and then we ended up at the Institute of Fine Arts at Dhaka University where a small skit was taking place. Takes a visitor to show you your own city!       Â
This new gem of a lens replaced my Nikkor 17-55 DX and the Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm ED zoom F/2.8 Nano has seen more usage in the short while I’ve had it than the lens it has replaced. The 17-55 on DX was the equivalent of 25.5-82.8 , and the 1.5mm additional width I get from the 24-70 [...]

I was experimenting with two off-camera flash units placed low on the floor skimming the light of one off the ceramic tiles and one placed behind a white window curtain to diffuse it…. the “beep” from the remotely triggered flash units brought Mannat curiously checking what was going on.
