Ujwala PrabhuSoFoBoMo Day-8
May 1st 2008
Ujwala Prabhu – Artist.

We started out with a nice cup of tea on the large balcony facing Baridhara Lake…. the sun was setting and I’d hoped for some nice sky colors. It never happened! The sky went from a pale yellow/pink to dark gray in just 15 minutes.  We moved to her studio and it was fascinating to watch Ujwala setup her easel, place a sheet of paper, and before I knew it there was a beautiful painting taking shape with her bold quick and experienced brush strokes…
A few images posted to  the Log.

I had, on previous occasion, photographed some of her work but never actually witnessed Ujwala at work. I need to go in once more to take-in and try capture a some of the atmosphere of her at work and the “feel” of her studio…..

Nice pictures, Anil. Particularly liked the light in the third pic in the log.
