The Tailorbird and the Sunbird are hyper-active little birds – constantly on the move and hardly ever still. They usually are on a branch or twig for just a few seconds before they move again. Both these birds are in the 10 to 14 cm size tip of beak to end of tail and weigh just a few grams [8 to 12 for the Tailorbird and a bit more for the Sun-bird!]. The active movements and the small size make these especially difficult to photograph… but with a bit of patience a bit of technique and lots of luck, I have a few more images of these lovely little creatures to share:
