A lovely piece of glass

Nikkor zoom 24-70mm f/2.8 Nano lens

This new gem of a lens replaced my Nikkor 17-55 DX and  the Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm ED zoom F/2.8 Nano has seen more usage in the short while I’ve had it than the lens it has replaced.  The 17-55 on DX was the equivalent of 25.5-82.8 , and the 1.5mm additional width I get from the 24-70 at the wide end makes a huge difference.  I used just this one lens for the entire 600 [or so] images made at the recent wedding I attended at Delhi. I never once missed having a wider or longer lens with me.  From wide angle group shots to closeup headshots – just perfect, every time! Now I need want to get the 14-24 as well. Drool!
