Spent the early part of the morning with a group of local photographers hanging-out at Dhaka University and the Institute of Fine Arts [Charukala]. Great festivities and literally millions of people all dressed in their new clothes – crisp starched red orange pink and magenta sarees for the women and crisp cotton kurtas for the men. Got a few nice images, and got separated from the group…. spent a while trying to locate them and the called it a [hot!] day and went home.
