Scott Kelby’s world-wide photo walk.
Just over a week later, 18th July to be exact, approximately 45,000 participants [if all walks fill up to the 50 participants max each] from around the world will walk Scott Kelby’s 2nd Worldwide Photo Walk.Â
Last year’s [Dhaka] SKWPW in August was a lot of fun, enjoyed meeting new people, got some great tips from each other, got some great images [and many lousy ones]. A morning well spent.
The 2009 Scott Kelby walk for Dhaka starts at Gulistan Park and we’ll be photographing in the Old Dhaka area [Puran Dhaka] for 2 hours.
With the monsoon on us now, it should turn out to be an interesting “walk” on the 18th if the rainy weather continues as we are experiencing really heavy downpours every day this week already. Will need to think about protective covering for myself and for the gear  - Ziplocs for the camera and lens? Am planning on going out with minimal gear. One body and one lens. Makes it easier to walk, hardly any danger of getting water and moisture into the camera and lens since I wont be changing lenses.
