Sudden storm sweeping across Dhaka this evening. Low across the horizon.

Loved the light and the wind, but not the prospect of having to deal with yet another downpour!

The wind was quite high and Mannat had fun trying to fly using an umbrella that kept flipping open…

Gee, I get distracted for a few days with a houseguest, etc. and you dress up the site with a brand-new look. Very handsome. The stormy sky is gorgeous. You captured such rich detail in those clouds and, for my taste, the amount of light on the landscape below is just right.

Ah, I found this new-look theme for the blog interesting… I switch often between lots of white-space and dark black themes. So this one has an option for the reader to select black or white – now thats a feature worth a lot!

The light in this scene [what I saw] was sweet. A few seconds later and it was all over [picture taking] as it got just too dark to have any light on those buildings and the clouds went pretty much “black”.
