Breakfast at Isapura

An early morning trip to Isapura village [23°49'37.72" N  90°29'19.09" E] near Dhaka today, with Ujwala. We left early [just after 6] and the light was beautiful while we were on the way, thought it would be gone by the time we reached our destination…. but luckily we got there well in time to watch the morning colors at dawn.

The rest of the next 2 hours we spent on a small bridge photographing the fishermen and boats…and a boat trip across to a small island which was covered in Kash Phul. A quick stop, then back to the bridge to get a few more images before we headed back to Dhaka.

Ah, breakfast at Isapura? We were tempted to stop at the market and eat the hot parathas and bhaaji being cooked hot but decided against it. Came back home instead  and tucked into toast, cheese, soft-boiled eggs splattered with Tabasco, and plenty of apple juice, a nice shot of espresso….

A slide-show of some of the other images from today morning are HERE.

What a gorgeous photo of what looks to be a cold morning scene. The pink and blue palette is gorgeous and the reflection makes this very special. It sounds like a magical trip.

Anita, it is never really cold here. The morning was humid [90%] and fairly warm [around 78°F at dawn], and it got pretty hot by the time we were on the boat.
