2010Jan17_really-rosie-wip_3901sSecond photo session on Jan 17th 2010.

Today’s rehearsal session was held in the theatre, so I had a chance to setup 2 wireless SB800′s in the upper gallery. Put a Honl 1/2 CTO gel on each to warm up the scene a bit and give the photos a warm “stage ligting”  effect.

Other photos from today are here.  These have been processed with minimal adjustments.

I am veering toward the least amount of post processing and attempting to get things as right in-camera as possible. Any images that don’t stand up to minimal processing go straight to the trash bin…My processing time now, from opening the RAW file in Adobe Camera Raw and saving the file to a PSD or layered a full resolution TIFF, a full resolution JPG and a small JPG for web use takes less than a minute and half per image on average. The saving of 3 files is an automated “action” or macro.  More time to take pictures and spend less on the computer!
