10th July 2010. A drive from Sidhora to the river Sutlej at Suni / Tatta Pani down in the valley.
View of the Sutlej river ~ The Sutlej at Tattapani ~ Idols at the Shiv and Hanuman temple at Tattapani ~ The old bridge at Tattapani ~ The last picture is inside the small temple, where a stone ShivLing and Cobra head were found four years ago while the massive rock face was being blasted to widen the road between Baldian and Naldehra. According to the Pujari [priest] at the temple, the earth-movers and bulldozers could not cut through this rock nor did the many attempts with dynamite blast the roc k. A worker then spotted this stone Shivling and a temple was constructed here. A couple of Shiva devotees were sitting outside making use of the weed that grows wild in these parts…..
