A “hidden” option found in PSCS5 / ACR 6 which is such a great advantage. While in CS5, you can open MB [for Mini-Bridge] and if you then select a RAW file, hold down the SHIFT key and Double-click - it will open up directly in PSCS5 without first being processed via ACR [Adobe Camera Raw]. So, why would this be good? Because, one can set certain default handling parameters in ACR for usual post-processing which one might want to by-pass and open the NEF as it is without any adjustments. Also now that ACR has pre-set profiles for all [known] lenses and cameras, these new features in PSCS5, Bridge 5 and ACR 6 just ROCK!
What the dickens is this hogwash?? trying to decipher what the excitement is all about?
The image of whatever is sharp but that is about it !!
This info would be appreciated by co-users of Photoshop – yes I agree it is worthless to photo viewers. Photo on this page has a nice graphic element and is just that. There was no other intent.
