My attempt at light-painting…. Nikon D3 on tripod, WB set to 5880K, ISO 100, 35mm f/2.8 MF lens, manual exposure set to 1/8 sec at f/22 in a semi darkened room, used a normal flashlight [with a tight beam] to selectively light-paint the pieces in a horizontal motion with the light; and then a quick circular [...]

Testing out NIK Sharpener Pro and after trying it out on a few quick images, the result is really good. Very well controlled and natural without creating jaggies and strange edges to the sharpened images. Need to test it further in portraits and some landscapes images….

Prior to “going digital” in 2005, I only used film [was there anything else?]. Fuji Velvia/Provia for color and Kodak TriX/Trimax for B&W were my preferred choices, though I did shoot color negative film as well.
