While driving down Gulshan road 56 and turning at 55, noticed this nice looking poster advertising a water-color painting exhibition “A Tribute to Panam Nagor” at Khazana restaurant organized by ‘Arts Council Dhaka’. A small poster stuck on the glass door of Khazana shows the full picture ….. OK, so a half-blue door is a half blue door but it so happens that this particular image appears to have been taken/lifted from a photo I took at Panam Nagar in Nov 2009.

I can’t believe it – The Blue Door – once again ! As you can see there are many people who have been completely mesmerized by it – including me !

Smita, your painting of the Sonargaon blue door too was a hit I recall.
Ujwala and Smita, I wonder if I should just be happy [which I actually am] that someone appreciates these pictures and uses them or be upset that no one bothers to ask permission and/or place an appropriate credit where they use them.

“Arts Council Dhaka” are the ones who used it. I have no idea who runs this company. Trying to find out.
Have had a call back from the Arts Council with an apology for using the image without appropriate credit.
