Children from USTAV School Dhaka visit Radius Gallery to view the «Jhaal Muri» exhibition, and they all seem to have had a wonderful time. We asked them which pictures were their favourites - very diplomatically they said «ALL»! Apparently they then all sat on the floor and recited poetry and did a few dances, I had left and so missed the show! Smita then treated them to a lunch out in town. A fun and exciting day for the Ustav kids. Glad you kids visited, and thanks for all the appreciation!

The last photo in the series is of the guard on duty at the Gallery - he acted as my VAL [Voice Activated Lightstand ].... thanks Rezwan, you did a great job in directing the flash exactly as I needed.

Jhaal Muri artwork on diaplay at Radius Center gallery, the exhibition opened on 8th November.

The Hanging....

As terrible as that sounds, it is not that terrible at all!
Except that it did take the mickey out of us getting the sequencing, spacing and positioning the way we wanted it to be. No compromizes. The artwork was hung and taken down 3 times before we got the right look we were after. A nice day spent at Radius Gallery - plenty of jokes and laughs and leg-pulling - great sandwiches and Coke - no coffee - cold beer to quench our thirst? you got to be kidding! End of the day, its all done.  A day to go for the opening.  Details here.
