A Football Lily beginning to flower - that's what it is called! These look nicer in bud slightly open, before they turn into something that looks like it comes from another planet....
A long time since I photographed any flowers and plants, so this indoor potted plant gave me the opportunity today.
I probably should have backed up a bit, a smaller version in a dark background might have looked a bit better.
Not sure though.
Will do another version in a day or two when it has opened up a bit more.
