The two spiders [or monkeys?] climbing the wall today without being on belay. Â Â They enjoyed the feeling of being responsible for their own safety and were able to do a side-ways climb as well. Good show, girls! An old one from May 2005
Class project: “Supply and Demand“. The kids had to decide on a product, create a business proposal, calculate the cost price and a profit margin and the sale price, do some “market research” and then go setup the business at school on Monday morning.  Mannat decided that Papa’s waffles would sell well.  MANNAT. 10 today. Up and about at 6 AM, to enjoy the family tradition of eating cake early morning on birthdays! And of course, the “treasure hunt” around the house looking for gifts that had been hidden the night before….
Sudden storm sweeping across Dhaka this evening. Low across the horizon. Loved the light and the wind, but not the prospect of having to deal with yet another downpour! The wind was quite high and Mannat had fun trying to fly using an umbrella that kept flipping open…
