At Wat Pho, Bangkok

The first image is Wat Phra Kaew [Temple of the Emerald Buddha] as viewed from the Grand Palace grounds, the 2nd is a building at the Grand Palace. The «emerald» Buddha is actually made from jade/jasper and not emerald..... The others photographs are from Wat Pho [famous for the massive Reclining Buddha which is 15 mtrs high at 46 mtrs long, and the 1000's of other Buddha images].

Erin in purple

Erin in purple

The two girls were playing by the window this afternoon, and I saw this lovely soft light coming in through the sheer blinds of the window and highlighting Erin's face - the combination of the soft light on her face, her purple top and the egg-shell wall background looked so delicate and pretty. A quick grab of the camera, luckily had the 80-200 lens on already, and 3 frames in quick succession got me three nice portraits. This one is my favorite pick of the 3.

5:42 AM Bangkok

Time to wake and start the day... looked out blury eyed and saw this vivid sunrise reflected in the glass of the building opposite.

Grabbed camera and took a few frames. Lovely colors.

Red/orange/yellow sunrise colors and a deep deep indigo sky.

The colors were gone faded into daylight very fast...

M and the Tai Chi ladies

Mannat today and the Taichi ladies at Benjasiri Park in Bangkok where we go often in the evenings so Mannat can roller-blade and play. The park is full of kids and people working-out, jogging and then there are two groups of people who are there just around sun-set to Taichi. Their movements and grace are a pleasure to watch, every time.
