The Hanging....

As terrible as that sounds, it is not that terrible at all!
Except that it did take the mickey out of us getting the sequencing, spacing and positioning the way we wanted it to be. No compromizes. The artwork was hung and taken down 3 times before we got the right look we were after. A nice day spent at Radius Gallery - plenty of jokes and laughs and leg-pulling - great sandwiches and Coke - no coffee - cold beer to quench our thirst? you got to be kidding! End of the day, its all done.  A day to go for the opening.  Details here.

Tired, but happy.             Oh, and a press conference.

My office in the trees has turned out to be a great place for lazy birdwatching! The Sunbirds and others have come and now gone, but the Orioles are back. They perch on the branches of the Mango tree right outside the window. This morning, one came and visited for a few minutes. I grabbed the camera and shot through the closed windowpane [the loss of contrast and added haze because of shooting through the window glass, were easily corrected in PSCS4]. No time to open the window, and I knew the bird would take flight at the slightest movement. Got a few quick frames and it was gone.
