Today’s view from the window…

Two days ago it was windy and the last of the leaves from the past season were blown off. Today there are bright new ones . . . And a  year ago, exactly.

Fall in Spring?

Spring is here and the Mahogany trees are turning color, shedding leaves, and releasing the whirlybird seeds as the seed-pods dry and split open. Nice to have “Fall” in Spring….. adds a whole new dimension to “seasons”!

Spring is here

The Mahogany trees are sprouting new leaves and the Starlings, Mainas and Magpie Robins are bringing bits of stuff to build nests… the color of the Mahogany leaves are bright orange red like fall colors anywhere else!    click a thumbnail to see the full page photograph
