Storm on the way to the airport, and before we knew it the rain was pelting down and then the storm was gone as fast as it started… typical Malaysia weather. Oh, and by the way I love that 10-20mm Sigma lens. We are traveling over 100 kmph, and the foliage outside still retains detail.

The limestone Batu Caves just outside Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, the Hindu temples established in 1891 though the caves are 60 to 100 million years old. A [new] statue of Lord Murugan – standing 42 mtrs high- with 272 steps leading up to the upper entrance. There is another cave opening a bit below the upper [...]

    Funicular train to Penang Hill passes through the steepest [but a pretty short one though] tunnel in the world. The ride was steep, but did not feel as steep as the one to Victoria Peak HK actually. The view from the top, pretty spectacular
