A photo trip with good friend Stein Naevdal up the Balu River aboard the Peacock - a traditional Bangladeshi motorized sailboat boat – on 20th November early morning just as the sun was rising.

A multi photographers bird-photography exhibition - I went to view Samiul Mohsanin’s photos today. A treat! Samiul is a student of Jahangirnagar University, extremely knowledgable about the habitat and birds, and has hosted us and been our guide on a previous birding visit.

We met at Ahsan Manzil Museum [The Pink Palace] in Old Dhaka near Sadarghat on the banks of the Buriganga, and separated into groups to re-group at 10 AM.
Great experience! Met many new people. Will post photos once processed and posted to the Flickr group online…..

The outdoor photo exhibition of “EARTH FROM ABOVE” photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand on display at ZEN Department Store Bangkok is a treat to view. We spent the early part of the evening looking at these amazing and awe-inspiring photographs.
