I had assumed that any in-camera picture-control settings were not saved when shooting in RAW/NEF format. That these settings were lost unless one was shooting in JPG. Not just assumed, but I have many times tried using various settings and found that when I opened the NEFs in PS, the in-camera picture-control adjustments were lost. [...]

The recent release of Adobe Photoshop CS4 and the subsequent update of Adobe Camera Raw v.5 [ACR] is just superb. The processing speed of large NEFs and PSD files is much improved over CS3, many new features added, etc….but one little addition in ACR5 is just best of all – the Graduated Filter option. Bye [...]

Participated in the Scott Kelby World-Wide Photo-Walk today…. We met at Ahsan Manzil Museum [The Pink Palace] in Old Dhaka near Sadarghat on the banks of the Buriganga, and separated into groups to re-group at 10 AM. Great experience! Met many new people.
