A very happy new year to all! Dec 25th to 30th 2009. A lovely visit to Simla/Sidhora/Mashobra, yet again. Long walks through the pine forests. An early morning trip to Isapura village [23°49'37.72" N 90°29'19.09" E] near Dhaka today, with Ujwala. We left early [just after 6] and the light was beautiful while we were on the way, thought it would be gone by the time we reached our destination…. but luckily we got there well in time to watch [...]

Up before dawn to try catch the early light. There was a bit of a rumble of distant thunder … though from the looks of the morning sky it seems unlikely there would be a sudden storm this morning [the season for the "Kaal Baisakh"Â - violent Nor'wester storms is coming up soon]. Drove out [...]
Time to wake and start the day… looked out blury eyed and saw this vivid sunrise reflected in the glass of the building opposite. Grabbed camera and took a few frames. Lovely colors. Red/orange/yellow sunrise colors and a deep deep indigo sky. The colors were gone faded into daylight very fast…
