Got the Gadget Infinity eBay remote trigger/receiver set [Cactus V2] and am now able to fire both flash units wirelessly - this freedom lets me place the flash pretty much anywhere I need and light the subject the way I want. The gadget is a bit flimsy and will not allow the SB800 to be «locked on»,  but then $29.95 for this system as compared to Pocket Wizzards for over $350....no comparision really.

First session saw the entire contraption fall off the stand. Bits of flash and bits of the receiver all over the floor. This is it, I thought! End of story. Probably going to end up with a broken flash and receiver. Luckily, only minor damage. Decide not to use the remote receiver in the conventional way of mounting the strobe atop the receiver directly.... so I modified a Nokia phone car-kit holder base and attached a Nikon SC28 TTL cord so that the SB800 is securely attached on the hot-shoe. Attached the other end to the remote.
